AIT and the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium Host Ocean Camp
The American Institute in Taiwan and the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium partnered to hold a youth leadership camp focused on oceans on May 23 and 24 in Ping Tung. Students had the opportunity to conduct exploration activities and discuss ocean conservation and South China Sea environmental protection with alumni of U.S. government programs. The event aims to raise awareness of maritime cooperation and cultivate the next generation of youth leaders in the field of environmental protection. Students also conducted exploration activities such as scuba diving and boating to appreciate Taiwan’s coastal ecology.
